Auckland Institute Of Studies
The Institute of Studies of Auckland (AIS) was previously known as AIS St Helens. It was established in 1990 and is ranked among the biggest private degree awarding institutions in New Zealand.The institute is associated with the Center for International Education Studies (CRIE). All services provided by it also have the New Zealand Qualifications Authority’s approval (NZQA). AIS is based in Auckland, New Zealand, with two campuses. Campus St Helens is located near Chamberlain Park Golf Course in Mt Albert. Courses in English, business, hospitality management, tourism management, business administration, and information technology are provided by this campus.
Asquith Campus is situated just a few -minute walk to St Helens Campus. It provides courses in information technology, management of tourism, industry and management of hospitality. AIS provides a variety of courses in different fields including postgraduate, undergraduate, diploma, certificate, graduate diploma and postgraduate diploma programs. In New Zealand and abroad, the institute has operational relations with various educational organizations and institutions.Few foreign partner organizations include Baekseok University in Korea, Stanford University in Bangladesh, Xiangnan University in China, Shih Chien University in Taiwan and Informatics Education in Singapore.
- IELTS 6.5 academic (with no band less than 6.0) / TOEFL iBT 79 (with a writing score of 21) / PToE academic score of 58 with no band lower than 50 / NZCEL L5
- A degree, or equivalent professional qualification as approved by the Academic Board of AIS; andat least two years relevant work experience as approved by the Academic Board of AIS or
- hold a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business degree (recognised by Academic Board as being at least equivalent to New Zealand pass standard) or other qualification approved by the Academic Head of Business Administration Programmes (or the Academic Director or Academic Registrar in his stead) and include BUAD920 Internship.
